Project Overview
The Work & The Why
An Tobar Nua is a multi-denominational Christian charity in Galway that has run day retreats for Irish secondary school students. Its team visits schools across Ireland and hosts students at its own centre. More recently it added SAOL, a free video series for Religious Education classes, which meant the website had to serve teachers as well as the chaplains who book retreats.
Flying Donut Media built a clean, WordPress-based site around three offers: retreats, in-school experiences, and SAOL. Each one has its own page, the home page leads with the mission ("Inspiring students to a life of meaning, value and purpose"), and every page points to one next step: contact the team. The result is a site that explains the work in plain language, shows proof from real schools, and makes it simple to book or register.
Project Highlights
- Mission-first home page that explains retreats, in-school prayer and SAOL in one scroll
- Clear SAOL handoff: teachers go straight to registration or login on the video platform
- Contact form with a region dropdown (Connacht, Munster, Dublin/Leinster, SAOL) so enquiries reach the right person
