Project Overview
The Work & The Why
Community Homeless Solutions runs nine programs across Monterey and San Benito Counties, from domestic violence shelters and a respite center to permanent supportive housing and a youth housing program. Someone in crisis, a referring agency, a donor and a job seeker all land on the same website, and each needs a different next step.
Flying Donut Media built a custom-designed site, with a "Get Help Now" path on every page. Programs are presented as one clear directory with a location label and a named contact for each, so visitors can call the right person right away. Online donations support one-time and recurring gifts, tribute gifts and secure card payments, and hiring runs through a Careers section and a multi-page online application. A custom Quick Exit button is included for visitors on the domestic violence page for those who need to leave the site quickly.
